Marines assigned to the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 261 Reinforced conduct flight operations on a MV-22B over Djibouti, January 17, 2024. VMM-261 (REIN) are deployed under U.S. Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa to provide aerial and combat support to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA). CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where they are needed to ensure security and protect U.S. interests. The installation provides world-class support for service members, transient U.S. assets and 38 local tenant commands, including CJTF-HOA.
