U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Travis Winczewski an Infantry Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, provides cover fire during an assault on a model town during a platoon reinforcement exercise on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, August 1, 2024. Marines with BLT 1/4 carried MOPP suits with them during the assault in the event of a simulated chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear threat during the exercise in conjunction with working with the crisis response element.
