A contracted engineering technician, from a leading provider of information technology modernization, installs Integrated Tactical Network components on a 34th Infantry Division M1097A2 High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle in the U.S. Central Command area of operations, May 9, 2024. The 34th Infantry Division was tasked to implement new equipment that will strengthen their ability to conduct tactical communication for the era of strategic competition. The new systems are part of the Army’s modernization efforts and was the first time this equipment was integrated by a unit of this scale while deployed. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
