ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 7, 2024) – Sonar Technician 1st Class Thomas Underwood, a native of Waynesville, North Carolina, stands watch as a surface warfare coordinator in the combat information center aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Stout (DDG 55). Stout is assigned to the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group and is underway in the U.S. 2nd Fleet area of operations conducting SWATT.
