The capstone exercise includes approximately 60 students from Latin American countries and is designed to test skills the students learned for the past six weeks while attending the Inter-American Air Forces Academy. The students attended four different courses in intelligence, force protection, logistics and professional military education; and the capstone exercise, which included a hostage scenario, tested their knowledge. The 837 TRS is aligned under IAAFA at the 37th Training Wing. IAAFA teaches professional military education, technical training and aircrew training courses in Spanish.
