U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Robert L. Jacobs, the outgoing sergeant major of Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One, is presented the Meritorious Service Medal award during a Relief and Appointment ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona, July 29, 2024. The historic post and relief ceremony is a time-honored tradition within the U.S. Marine Corps, allowing the new appointed Sergeant Major the opportunity to introduce himself to the Marines now under his charge.
