Rafael Saldana, 166th Regional Support Group S6 NCOIC and a member of the Puerto Rico National Guard work together to install a radio antenna as part of a U.S. Marines field exercise that simulated real-world needs of a Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) mission, March 17, 2024, Ceiba, Puerto Rico.
The U.S. Marine Corps Det 1, Landing Support Company field training exercise was aimed at enhancing service members skills in interoperability and readiness for crisis and conflict response. A key component to this training was to ensure the marines had functioning equipment capable of seamlessly transmitting communicating between interagency components
