Michael Hernandez, 502d Civil Engineer Squadron utility systems repairer/operator, checks the dissolved oxygen content of the aeration tank at the wastewater treatment plant at Joint Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis, Texas, July 25, 2024. Due to its remote location, JBSA-Camp Bullis is not connected to an outside sanitary sewer collection system and must treat its own wastewater to meet federal, state, & U.S. Air Force guidelines before it can be discharged.
