LIMÓN, Costa Rica (July 19, 2024) – Musician 1st Class Winifield Dawkins, from U.S. Fleet Forces Navy band “Uncharted Waters,” signs a stress ball for a student at Escuela Moín in Limón, Costa Rica during Continuing Promise 2024. Continuing Promise 2024, a U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command-led mission, features multinational coordination, collaboration, and caring though partner-led events, where U.S. military personnel, civilian mariners, civilians professionals, and volunteers conduct “diplomacy through good deeds,” which improve local infrastructure, bolster collective capabilities and skills, and facilitate an environment of collaborative learning.
