Sgt. Luke Churchwell, an infantryman assigned to 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Divsion, is awarded the Army Commendation Medal by Maj. Gen. Scott Naumann, commanding general of the 10th Mountain Division, after being named the unit’s Noncommissioned Officer of the year, July 19, 2024, on Fort Drum, New York. The title of the 10th Mountain Division NCO of the Year is given to an NCO who most embodies the spirit of the division, leads and cares for their Soldiers far and beyond the standard, and remains ready to execute any mission to the highest level possible.
