U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Todd R. Wasmund, commanding general, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, (SETAF-AF) hosts a luncheon with senior U.S. Military Academy (USMA), West Point, New York cadets during the Cadet Troop Leader Training (CTLT) program at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, July 17, 2024. SETAF-AF supports the 2024 CTLT program from June 4 - Aug. 31. The CTLT program offers select U.S. Military Academy, West Point cadets, the Army's future leaders, an invaluable chance to experience active duty firsthand by shadowing seasoned platoon leaders. SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe & Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis response options in Africa and Europe.
