Members from the Department of Fisheries and Enforcement Surveillance, Vietnam Maritime Administration, Vietnamese Customs Agency and Anti-Smuggling Interdiction Department were welcomed aboard the Waesche for a ship tour during a port call in Vietnam. Waesche is the second U.S. Coast Guard national security cutter deployed to the Indo-Pacific in 2024.
