Brig. Gen. Karen Monday-Gresham, deputy commanding general, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, shakes hands with Markus Cappel, maintenance manager, Theater Logistics Support Center-Europe, during Rheinland-Pfalz State Minister Michael Ebling's visit to the Maintenance Activity Kaiserslautern, on July 8, 2024, Kaiserslautern Army Depot, Germany. The MAK consists of well-trained maintenance specialists that provide field and sustainment maintenance for wheeled, tracked and all other automotive equipment and components in support of sustainment, deployment, re-deployment and reset of the U.S. Army in Europe. The visit helped to increase knowledge of local and regional logistic services as well as highlight collective sustainment capabilities within the European theater.
