State Minister Michael Ebling, Rheinland-Pfaz Ministry of Interior and Sports, shakes hands with Markus Cappel, maintenance manager, Theater Logistics Support Center-Europe, during his visit to the Maintenance Activity Kaiserslautern, on July 8, 2024, Kaiserslautern Army Depot, Germany. The MAK consists of well-trained maintenance specialists that provide field and sustainment maintenance for wheeled, tracked and all other automotive equipment and components in support of sustainment, deployment, re-deployment and reset of the U.S. Army in Europe. The visit helped to increase knowledge of local and regional logistic services as well as highlight collective sustainment capabilities within the European theater.
