A group of U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III crew chiefs from Shepherd Field Air National Guard Base’s 167th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron standby on the flightline between tasks, within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, July 3, 2024. Members of the 167th EAMXS deployed together as part of the Air Force Force Generation model which enforces collective deployment of stateside units, allowing Airmen to face new challenges alongside fellow service members whom they already know.
