Jesus Hoyos, a fire support Marine with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, relays a 9-line close air support brief while maneuvering to a new position during an urban close air support event at JGSDF Camp Yufuin, Oita, Japan, June 6, 2024. The urban close air support event was part of a subject matter expert exchange between 5th ANGLICO and Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade, Japan Ground Self Defense Force. The subject matter exchange provided 5th ANGLICO Marines and ARDB service members the opportunity to exchange knowledge, tactics, and expertise regarding the coordination and integration of fires and close air support.
