U.S. Army Soldiers, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 169th Field Artillery Brigade, Task Force Thunder, participate in a hero workout of the day to honor Staff Sgt. Andrew Pokorny in the U.S. Central Command area of operations, June 13, 2024. Pokorny made the ultimate sacrifice when his M113 Armored Personnel Carrier threw a track and rolled over the side of the road, causing one of his Soldiers to be tossed toward an open hatch where he could have been crushed.
