PHILIPPINE SEA (June 19, 2024) Gunner’s Mate Seaman Tyler Anderson from Port St. Lucie, Florida, does routine maintenance on a Mk 38 25mm weapons system amidships of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) while operating in the Philippine Sea, June 19. Higgins is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
