Sgt. Joel Guerra, a 68W Combat Medic with the 212th Field Artillery Brigade, fills out a tactical combat casualty care card after treating a female medical simulator at the Fort Cavazos Medical Simulation Training Center. Guerra served as a test player during an operational field test conducted by the U.S. Army Medical Evaluation Training Activity on behalf of the Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation. Currently the Army does not have high fidelity female simulators for combat casualty care training. That may soon change pending the results of this operational test.
