U.S. Marines and Sailors with Combat Logistics Battalion 8, 2nd Marine Logistics Regiment, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, perform casualty care during a casualty evacuation exercise event during BALTOPS 24 as part of MRF-E 24.2 at Berga Naval Base, Sweden, June 12, 2024. The casualty care exercise took place on Gålö island, aboard a Swedish CB90 class fast assault craft, and the A264, HMS Trossö, an auxiliary ship. MRF-E focuses on regional engagements throughout Europe by conducting various exercises, mountain-warfare training, and military-to-military engagements, which enhances the overall interoperability of the U.S. Marine Corps with allies and partners.
