The MODIS instrument onboard NASA's Aqua satellite captured this true-color image of Typhoon Conson on June 8, 2004 at 5:05 UTC. At the time this image was taken, Conson had maximum sustained winds of 75 miles per hour with higher gusts to 88 mph. Conson was moving towards the north-northeast at 10 mph and is expected to bring heavy rains and winds to southeastern Taiwan.
