    III Marine Expeditionary Force   

    U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Esgardo Franco, a fast rope instructor with Expeditionary Operations Training Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, holds a rope in preparation for grounding a UH-1Y Venom assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 367, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, during the fast rope master course at Landing Zone Starling, Okinawa, Japan, June 5, 2024. The FRMC provides instruction, practical application, and evaluation in the maintenance and operation of fast rope equipment to enhance capabilities to perform day and night ingress of rotary winged and tilt-rotor aircraft.
