U.S. Navy Cmdr. Jason Duff, a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) short term individual augmentee recovery officer and U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) liaison, wet screens during a DPAA recovery operation in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, May 26, 2024. The USNA midshipmen, during their summer training and professional development, collaborated with the DPAA. They engaged in digging, wet screening, and searching for possible osseous material or evidence alongside DPAA personnel. There are approximately 1,576 personnel still unaccounted-for in Vietnam.
