Deputy commanding general of operations of the 1st Cavalry Division (Task Force Pegasus), Polish Army Brig. Gen. Rafal P. Kowalik, meets with select leaders of Task Force Saber and Task Force Archangel from the Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, at Powidz, Poland, May 29, 2024.
Kowalik received a tour led by the Task Force Saber command team, Lt. Col. Jonathan Ryder and Command Sgt. Maj. Damir Hodzic, of where Task Force Saber soldiers work, conduct aircraft maintenance, and where the Task Force issues and stores aircraft supplies and parts to discuss ways to increase interoperability, pitch ideas for potential training opportunities, and discuss points of friction across the Task Force.
