U.S. Marines with 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, fire pistols on a pistol range during exercise Resolute Sentinel 24 (RS24) at Base Naval De Infanteria De Marina, Lima, Peru, June 3, 2024. Marines practiced pistol marksmanship from varying distances that included the 10 yard line to the 25 yard line. RS24 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored exercise that consists of comprehensive joint training opportunities aimed at enhancing regional security and interoperability among Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, France, and the United States.
