Bruce Tims, life support investigator and short term individual augment, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), inspects material from a wet screening station during recovery operations in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, June 2, 2024. U.S. service members and personnel from Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 36, Air Force Global Strike Command, U.S. Navy USS Nimitz (CVN 68), Navy Medicine and Readiness Training Command New England, Expeditionary Medical Facility 150 Bravo, U.S. Air Force 914th Civil Engineer Squadron, 919th Special Operations Support Squadron, DPAA, local Vietnamese workers and the Vietnam Office of Seeking Missing Persons, combine their efforts and knowledge to conduct recovery operations in Vietnam.
