Aldrin,Jr.,Lunar Module (LM) pilot,unpacks the Laser Ranging Retroflector (LRRR) and the Passive Seismic Experiment Package (PSEP) from the Modularized Equipment Storage Assembly (MESA) in the LM descent module. These experiments are part of the Early Apollo Scientific Experiments Package (EASEP). The Apollo Lunar Surface Closeup Camera (ALSCC) is in the foreground. The Solar-Wind Composition (SWC) Experiment and the television camera are visible behind the LM. Image taken at Tranquility Base during the Apollo 11 Mission. Original film magazine was labeled S.
