YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 29, 2024) — Seaman Apprentice Alex Espinal Tejeda, originally from the Dominican Republic, with the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113) checks in with a members of Region Legal Service Office Western Pacific, onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), prior to a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalization ceremony at the Kodo Auditorium in the Community Readiness Center. Seven new U.S. citizens originating from 6 countries attended the swearing-in ceremony. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
