U.S. Army Staff Sgt. David Fausz, a short-range air defense crewmember assigned to the Fires Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate at Fort Sill, Okla., demonstrates marksmanship fundamentals as he attempts to zero his M4 Carbine at McGregor Range, N.M., May 8, 2024. Fausz and his squad took part in a week-long training program facilitated by Joint Modernization Command designed to prepare them thoroughly for the forthcoming Army Futures Command Best Squad Competition scheduled to take place at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., from June 2-7, 2024.
