U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force – Fleet Week New York talk to visitors on the USS Bataan (LHD-5) flight deck about the MV-22 Osprey during Fleet Week New York 2024 in Manhattan, May 24, 2024. Marines and Sailors opened the ship up to the public, which provided visitors an opportunity to interact with service members, tour the amphibious assault ship, and get an up-close look at military gear and equipment. Fleet Week New York, now in its 36th year, is a time-honored celebration of the sea services that brings the citizens of New York City and the surrounding tri-state area together with Marines, Sailors, and Coast Guardsmen.
