U.S. Marines with Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command, start a one-mile run during the Murph Challenge at Camp Elmore, Norfolk, Virginia, May 23, 2024. The Murph Challenge is named in honor of U.S. Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during Operation Red Wings.
