Community members observe a static-line jump collaboration between the 36th Airlift Squadron and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force paratroopers during 2024 Japanese-American Friendship Festival at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 18, 2024. Visitors of the Friendship Festival were able to experience some flying performances from the Pacific Air Forces F-16 Viper Demonstration Team and Yokota’s own C-130J Super Hercules aircraft, which dropped dozens of Japan Ground Self-Defense Force paratroopers over the airfield.
