A U.S. Marine with Battalion Landing Team 1/8, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), travels aboard an CH-53E Super Stallion during an amphibious assault mission as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) over the Atlantic Ocean, May 11, 2024. The Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG)-24th MEU is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea, certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
