U.S. Marines with the Maritime Special Purpose Force, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) provide sniper fire support from a UH-1Y Venom with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th MEU during a simulated visit, board, search, and seizure as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) in the Atlantic Ocean, May, 9 2024. The Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG)-24th MEU is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea, certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
