A U.S. Marine with the Maritime Special Purpose Force, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), prepares to conduct a simulated visit, board, search, and seizure from the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) in the Atlantic Ocean, May, 9 2024. The Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG)-24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea, certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
