U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to Navy Region Hawaii fold an American flag during an interment ceremony held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, May 8, 2024. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency and other attendees paid their respects and honored the life of U.S. Navy Fire Controlman 1st Class Robert L. Corn, who was assigned to the USS Oklahoma when the ship was attacked by Japanese aircraft during World War II. The USS Oklahoma sustained multiple torpedo hits, which caused it to quickly capsize.
