Gen. Abud Qanbar Hashim (right), who serves as the commander of the Baghdad Operations Command, and Maj. Gen. Jeffery Hammond, a native of Hattiesburg, Miss., who serves as the commander of the 4th Infantry Division and Multi-National Division - Baghdad, held a media event at Joint Security Station Sadr in the Sadr City district of Baghdad April 6 to talk about the recent increase of violence in the area and how the Iraqi Security Forces, with support from U.S. Forces, are continuing their mission to provide security and stability to the Iraqi people.
