Buckets sit near a screening station as personnel with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) sift through soil during a recovery mission in France, May 3, 2024. Multiple tools, methods and systems are utilized throughout each recovery mission in order to maximize time and space on site and organic personnel assigned to, and augments attached to DPAA, combined skillsets and personal experiences in order to recover possible remains.
