Brigadier General Guillaume "Will" Beaurpere, commander, U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School listens to a Soldier, wearing a Global War on Terror-era uniform, brief him on the contributions and sacrifices of Soldiers during that time, during a sunset march on the Liberty Trail April 23, 2024 at Ft. Liberty, NC. The march started at the circle that reads "Fort Liberty, Liberty for All" and goes up a hill for just over a half-mile to a plaza and monument. It's a march that happens every day, rain or shine, at sunset and is designed after the march in Holland where more than 40 members of the 82nd Airborne Division lost their lives in battle at a bridge that crosses the Waal River during World War II.
