U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Fiorella Alvarez, an aviation ordnance technician with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing is sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) during a Martial Arts Instructor course on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, April 17, 2024. The Marine Corps Martial Arts Program aims to strengthen the mental and moral resiliency of individual Marines through realistic combative training, warriors' ethos studies, and physical hardening.
