The St. Barbara’s day celebration is commemorated across artillery regiments in the Marine Corps to honor St. Barbara, the patron saint of artillerymen. Traditionally, units celebrate with cohesion-building events such as a JLTV pull, gun run relay, tire flips, and tug-of-war.
