Kentucky Air National Guard Lt. Col. Jason Craig, a C-130J Super Hercules pilot from the 123rd Airlift Wing, conducts flight operations while executing an Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) mission in support of Operation Arctic Haven over Alaska, April 24, 2024. During Operation Arctic Haven, the National Guard Bureau utilized KYANG airlift assets to transport 340,000 pounds of residential building supplies to Arctic communities experiencing housing shortages. IRT is exclusive to the United States and its territories and delivers joint training opportunities to increase deployment readiness.
