Naval Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP) Command Master Chief Sean Howe, from Stoughton, Massachusetts, delivers remarks to friends and family during his retirement ceremony at the Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center, Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego, April 19, 2024. Howe spoke about his 31-year journey in the U.S. Navy, which began at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Florida in January 1993 and culminated at NMFP in San Diego. NMFP provides oversight for 11 Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Commands (NMRTC), on the West Coast and Pacific Rim that train, man, and equip medical forces, primarily in military treatment facilities.
