Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) personnel dig up soil to place in sandbags during a recovery mission in France, April 14, 2024. Sandbags are used for a variety of things throughout the mission such as stabilizing a water holding area, keeping tarps on the ground and covering the outer edges of the excavated soil units.
