Jarred Dickey, DPAA ES commander, dig in an excavation unit during a recovery mission in Socialist Republic of Vietnam, March 31, 2024. Dirt from excavation units is transferred to screening stations where U.S. personnel, Vietnamese soldiers and Vietnamese citizens search for aircraft parts, life support material and possible osseous material.
