Jeremy Daniels, DPAA Short Term Individual Augmentee (STIA), prepare a water pump during a recovery mission in Socialist Republic of Vietnam, March 22, 2024. Water pumps are utilized to transport water from local natural sources or retention reservoirs to wet screening stations where the water is used to break up excavated soil in search of evidentiary material from missing U.S. personnel.
