The U.S. Air Force JBSA wreath sits on the Alamo plaza lawn during the Pilgrimage to the Alamo, San Antonio, Texas April 22, 2024, The Pilgrimage to the Alamo is a memorial tribute honoring those who died defending the Alamo, which made is possible for Texans to be victorious in the Battle of San Jacinto. The event is hosted by the Alamo Mission Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and consists of a processional of military, community groups, and individuals culminating with wreaths placed in front of the Alamo.
