Ammo troops attached to the 1st SOMUNS simulated deployment on an MC-130J to an austere training field to execute forward area munitions generation for the AC-130J and other various aircraft. This training allows Air Force Special Operations Command the ability to effectively employ ammo troops to any theatre of operations at a moment's notice.
