U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 3rd Division Sustainment Brigade’s 414th Signal Company and the 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade’s 207th Signal Company host a transfer of authority ceremony at Forward Operating Site Powidz, Poland, April 18, 2024. Both companies deployed to provide communications support to sustainment units operating alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America's forward deployed corps in Europe. Capt. Adam Bungum and 1st Sgt. Joseph Rashid, the command team of the deployed 414th Signal Company, cased their unit’s guidon, symbolically demonstrating the completion of their mission and redeployment to Fort Stewart, Georgia. The deployed 1st CDSB 207th Signal Company command team, Capt. Brandon Reveles and 1st Sgt. Joseph Cox, uncased their company’s guidon, symbolically demonstrating the formal assumption of responsibility for the mission.
