U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Heian Heuer, explosive ordnance disposal technician with Headquarters Battalion, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, removes explosive material from the arming and firing component of an AGM-114B Hellfire missile during a disassembly and familiarization training exercise, MCBH, April 11, 2024. EOD technicians disassembled the ordnance to first-hand understand the system’s composition and functionality before disposing of the explosive.
